Satoraa Care Guide

Caring For Your Satoraa

Every Satoraa piece is made with care, and a little care in return keeps it beautiful for years. Here is how we recommend washing, drying and storing your dresses.

Delicate Fabrics

Many Satoraa pieces are made from fine fabrics such as organza, silk and lightweight cotton blends. They are soft, fluid and beautiful, and they ask for a gentler touch than everyday clothing.

Small differences in colour, texture or weave are part of natural and delicately made fabric. They are not flaws, and they make each piece a little unique.

Washing Your Dresses

Always follow the care label sewn into your garment. When in doubt, hand wash in cold water with a mild, pH neutral soap and never wring or twist the fabric.

If you use a machine, choose the delicate cycle with cold water, turn the garment inside out and place it in a mesh wash bag. Avoid bleach, harsh detergents and fabric softeners.

Dry cleaning is recommended for structured, lined or heavily detailed pieces. Please ask your cleaner to use the gentlest method available.

Embellished And Sheer Pieces

Pieces with embroidery, beading, sequins or sheer layers should be treated like jewellery. Store them flat or on a padded hanger, and keep them away from rough surfaces, zips and velcro that can snag the fabric.

We recommend dry cleaning only for embellished styles. Avoid spraying perfume or hairspray directly onto the fabric.

Drying And Pressing

Lay your garment flat or hang it on a padded hanger to air dry, away from direct sunlight and heat. Never tumble dry, as heat can damage delicate fibres and colour.

For wrinkles, a handheld steamer is the safest option. If you iron, use a low heat on the reverse side with a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric.

Storing Your Satoraa

Clean your garment before storing it for a season. Keep it in a cool, dry place inside a breathable cotton garment bag, and avoid plastic covers that trap moisture.

Long, flowing maxi dresses are best hung on wide padded hangers, or folded loosely with acid-free tissue to prevent creasing and stretching.
